Here are Specific Services We Provide
Back and Neck Injuries
When back and neck injuries go untreated for too long, they can result in impaired function and chronic pain. We can help reduce and prevent symptoms associated with spinal injuries through rehab programs like postural training, strengthening exercises, range-of-motion exercises, and Activities of Daily Living training.

We also offer back care classes that emphasize active participation in functional training exercises, postural training, and injury prevention. These classes are given in both English and Spanish.

Post-Surgical Rehabilitation
After surgery, we want to get you back to doing what you need or want to do as safely and as soon as possible. We have years and years of experience in treating a wide variety of post-surgical patients, and we would be happy to discuss your specific post-surgery needs with you at no obligation.
Athletic & Sports Injuries
We have worked with athletes of all ages. And we know that when you sustain an injury, your goal is to get back to your sport as soon and safely as possible. Our almost two decades of experience can help you regain peak performance.

Total Joint Arthroplasty Rehabilitation

When you are recovering from total joint replacement surgery, proper rehabilitation is always required. That is why our staff regularly attends seminars to stay current with the latest surgical advances and rehab techniques. We know the ins and outs of helping restore your motion, strength, and function so you can get back to doing the things you enjoy doing. We offer a FREE pre-operative instructional class - "Preparing for Total Joint Surgery" - that will tell you what to expect from surgery and help you approach recovery realistically. Contact us for more information on this regularly scheduled class.

Rheumatoid & Osteoarthritis
Arthritis is debilitating. But we can design a program of both land – and aquatic-based exercises for each affected joint that may be troubling you. Through our programs – and a home program that we can create for you – you can restore motion, reduce pain, and improve function of bothersome joints.
Stroke & Other Neurological Conditions
A stroke can make getting around a difficult chore. We offer treatments to improve deficits left after a stroke, including stretching, strengthening, and gait and balance training.
Balance and Gait Training
A debilitating fall is one of the leading causes of loss of function in a senior’s life. By evaluating your strength and balance, we can help you recover from a fall—or even help prevent a fall in the future. By determining your risk of falling, as well as your strength and range-of-motion deficits and balance and gait problems, we can create a specific program for you that addresses areas that need improvement.
Injury Prevention & Work Evaluation
Todd Martin, P.T., has worked one-on-one with many companies, including Conoco/Phillips Oil Refinery, to prevent work site injuries. He teaches employee classes on how to care for your spine and how to use home exercises to maintain flexibility and strength of the spine and upper and lower extremities. Adrian Asencio, OTR/L has worked with several local companies; including Jordanos to provide classes on safety strategies during work. He is also trained to perform worksite safety evaluations and Functional Capacity Evaluations (FCEs). If you are interested in injury prevention education or worksite evaluation please call Todd or Adrian. Click here for a full listing of work rehab services.
Osteoporosis Physical Therapy
Some 28 million women and men age 50 and older are plagued with osteoporosis, which can cause bones to become fragile and more likely to break. We create postural exercise programs to improve your activity and help prevent falls. We also teach you the importance of proper diet in preventing further bone loss.

Women’s Health Program
Karen Bailey, P.T., and Samantha Stollberg, P.T., have created a program to help treat the symptoms of urge and stress incontinence, pelvic pain disorders, and pre- and postpartum musculoskeletal conditions.

Our techniques include use of biofeedback sensors that allow you to see your pelvic floor muscles contract and relax during certain exercise. We have helped decrease incontinence in women who have experienced 17 years of symptoms.

We also offer treatment for women with Interstitial Cystitis. Treatment may include pelvic floor muscle re-education, stretching and strengthening of pelvic stabilizers and bladder re-training. A thorough evaluation will guide what treatment you will receive.

Vestibular Rehab

Patients with inner ear disorders can experience significant disabling symptoms such as dizziness, balance disorders and visual motor disturbances. Many of these symptoms can lead to a reduction in activity levels and quality of life.

Dizziness and disequilibrium due to peripheral vestibular pathology can be treated with vestibular rehabilitation. Research shows that vestibular rehabilitation/balance retraining therapy can significantly reduce a patient's symptoms and lead to 1) A decrease or elimination of dizziness, 2) An increase in balance function and safety, 3) Improved visual motor control, 4) and an increase in general activity level. Marcelle A. Flores, DPT is trained to treat dysfunction of the vestibular system.

Golf Conditioning

A common denominator to a consistent, repeatable and efficient swing is conditioning. Whether you are a recreational player or professional, a junior, senior, man or woman, you have unique strengths and weaknesses. Of the hundreds of training devices on the market today, not one is more effective at improving your overall ability to play the game of golf better than your own body. Golfers are athletes and should be treated as such. Flexibility and strength are two variables of the conditioning equation that provide and contribute to the mobility, stability, posture, balance, power, endurance and ultimately, the coordination needed for an efficient golf swing. Proper conditioning maximizes your ability to play the game.

As a golfer and Physical Therapist specializing in Golf Conditioning, Injury Prevention and Orthopedic Rehabilitation John Hinds, PT understands the game and the biomechanics involved. All exercises he teaches are biomechanically sound and safe, meaning they are effective in accomplishing their intended goal while NOT placing undue stress in other areas, such as the vulnerable back, neck or shoulders. He utilizes a scientific and practical approach in the golf conditioning programs and does not claim to reveal any secrets or promise Tigeresque drives.
