Thomas Meenzhuber, P.T….
graduated from California State University Long Beach with a degree in Physical Therapy. He has been practicing physical therapy on the Central Coast for 30 years. He was a founding owner of Meenzhuber-Martin Physical Therapy that became Santa Maria Valley Physical Therapy Group in 2003. Tom retired from ownership of SMVPT in 2007, but is still practicing physical therapy. He teaches our FREE CLASS, Preparing for Rotator Cuff Repair Surgery. He specializes in rehabilitation of post-operative knees and shoulders. |

Todd Martin, P.T….
graduated from California State University Fresno in 1985
and has been co-owner of Santa Maria Valley Physical Therapy Group since 1989. His rehabilitation areas
of interest include athletic injury rehabilitation, back
conditioning, total joint rehab, and work situation evaluation
and ergonomic training. |

Samantha Stollberg, P.T., G.C.S…..
graduated from California Polytechnic State University,
San Luis Obispo with a Bachelors of Science in Physical
Education and Kinesiology and a minor in Spanish in
June 1998. She received her Masters of Science in Physical
Therapy in May 2000 from University of Pacific in Stockton.
She has practiced physical therapy with Santa Maria Valley Physical Therapy Group since May 2000
and became a partner in 2002. Samantha specializes in
Women’s Health Physical Therapy and is bilingual
in Spanish. In 2005 she received her Geriatric Certified Specialist (GCS) certification. |

Jared M. Bailey, P.T…..
became part owner of SMVPT in 2003. Jared was a resident of Ohio until moving to the Santa Maria in 2001.
He graduated from Ohio University in 1999 with a Bachelors Degree in Psychology - Pre-Physical Therapy.
He graduated from Andrews University in 2001 with a Masters of Physical Therapy.
Jared had been working in Lompoc for approximately two years.
He joined the team at Santa Maria Valley Physical Therapy Group in November of 2003.
Jared specializes in post-op rehabilitation, spinal injury and rehabilitation, and has a special interest in sports/athletic physical therapy. |

Karen Bailey, P.T….
is a staff physical therapist who received her Bachelors
of Science at Chico State University in Exercise Physiology.
She obtained her Masters Degree in Physical Therapy at
Andrews University in Dayton, Ohio in 2001. Karen enjoys
working in the outpatient orthopedic setting and helped
launch the Women’s Health Program at Santa Maria Valley Physical Therapy Group, working with
patients suffering from incontinence, pelvic pain, and
pre and postpartum musculoskeletal disorders. |

John Hollinshead, P.T., A.T.C….
Received his Bachelors of Science Degree in Marine Biology
from Occidental College in 1984, then his Masters Degree
in Athletic Training at the University of Virginia in
1986. He completed his Bachelors of Science cum laude
from California State University Long Beach in Physical
Therapy in 1994. John was the head athletic trainer at
Hampden Sydney College 1986-87 and at Sidwell Friends
School, Washington, D.C. 1987-89. He was the Assistant
Athletic Trainer at Occidental College 1989-93. He has
taken many manual therapy courses, volunteered at the
United States Olympic Training Center in San Diego in
1998, and has a coaching background. His specialties are
running and spine injuries. |

Marcelle A. Flores, DPT….
was born and raised in the Santa Maria valley. After graduating from Santa Maria High School in 1997, she attended the University of California, Los Angeles and graduated in 2001 with a Bachelors of Science degree in Physiological Science. She worked for a year as a physical therapist aide in West Los Angeles then attended the University of Southern California Doctor of Physical Therapy program. She received her doctorate degree in physical therapy in 2005. After having lived in the Los Angeles area, she is excited to return to her hometown and serve the Santa Maria community. Marcelle specializes in Vestibular Rehabilitation and Balance Training. |

Adrian Asencio, OTR/L, CHT….
joined the Santa Maria Valley Physical Therapy Group staff in 2005. A 30-year resident of Santa Maria, Adrian graduated from San Jose State with a degree in Occupational Therapy in 1998. Since then he has focused on hand and upper extremity rehabilitation, as well as, industrial rehabilitation with ergonomic training. He recently completed competency as a Certified Hand Therapist. Adrian is also trained to perform Functional Capacity Evaluations (FCEs).

John Hinds, PT….
John is a lifelong golfer who specializes in Golf Conditioning, Injury Prevention and Orthopedic Rehabilitation. John graduated from California State University Northridge where he received his Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy in 1992 and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Exercise Science in 1990. He studied Biomechanics at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. He is included among the Titleist Performance Institute’s Approved Fitness Professionals. John is the former owner of JMHinds Physical Therapy in El Segundo, California and served as the Strength and Conditioning Coach for the Men’s Golf Team at El Camino College in Torrance California. He performs gait analysis for runners and offers clinics and lectures on various topics including Golf Conditioning, Injury Prevention, Stretching, and Common Injuries in the Triathlete. He came to Santa Maria Valley Physical Therapy Group in May 2007. For info on his Golf Conditioning services click here. |
